Public Advisory - Prevention of Fraudulent Collection of Money in the name of IGNOU

It has come to the notice of Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) that some unscrupulous persons impersonating themselves as officers/officials of IGNOU are contacting Learners of IGNOU for making payment for Examination Fee, Issue of Duplicate Grade card and Degree, Transcript, Verification of certificates, Project & Practical Fees, Revaluation, Photocopy of Answer sheet etc., through personal emails or telephonic calls & other mode etc.
In this regard, as directed by the Competent Authority, a Public Advisory is being issued on behalf of Student Evaluation Division (SED) cautioning the students about such malicious and fraudulent activities.
The learners should become aware and be cautious about such emails / messages / phone calls etc.
